In the video installation To Vincent, With Love, four scenes are played out on four monitors in a chocolate brown gallery. Jillian Mcdonald has inserted her own image into footage from the film Buffalo 66 starring actor Vincent Gallo, implying a fictitious romantic relationship between them. They exchange furtive glances, and perform a haunting duet, yet the desire remains unconsummated. This is a conceptual continuation of her 2003 web and DVD project, Me and Billy Bob.

JILLIAN MCDONALD is a Canadian performance and media artist. McDonald has presented her work in video, performance and web projects across North America and Europe in venues such as the Bronx Museum of the Arts, Video Pool in Winnipeg, the Web Biennial in Istanbul, and the Irish Museum of Modern Art. She recently presented Me and Billy Bob at the Drake Hotel in Toronto.
