PAMLA LANDRY lives and works in Montreal. Her works have been presented in solo and group exhibitions in Canada and Europe. Landry’s most recent exhibitions were Anima in Cardiff, Wales, UK, Le Ludique in Lille, France and at Musee national des beaux-arts du Quebec. The Hugging Centre has been presented at The New Gallery in Alberta, at Forest City Gallery, in London, Ontario and in Optica in Montreal. You Gotta Move at the Art Gallery of Southwestern Manitoba in 2003; Under my Skin at Artcite, Ontario and machines festives at Oeil de poisson, Quebec City in 2002 and in 1999 in La Centrale, Montreal for which she was the curator; Machining in the Digital Age: Bricoleur Urbane at Open Space in British Columbia in 2001; and Tes yeux at the Richmond Art Gallery, Vancouver in 1999. Recently, she participated in an artist’s book project Arpenter l’iile, vues singulieres organized by Le centre d’artistes B-312 in Montreal. Since 1995, she has taught at egep du Vieux Montreal while continuing to have an active art practice.
