To Hear Is To See was organized by Gue Schmidt and the idea was to invite artists to contribute a sound work with a length from 50 seconds to several hours combined with a photographic representation as an association to the sound work.
GUE SCHMIDT is an artist, curator and writer from Vienna, Austria. He has presented his work in the fields of visual acoustic media, performances, radio art and installation in venues in North America, Asia and Europe.
